You might want a drink & snack before clicking.

Husband and I just went on what might go down on records as the best trip in history. We spent a few days in Florida and then went on a cruise to the Caribbean. We came back a little more tan, with a lot of unforgettable memories, and a depleted bank account.  For the casual followers this may seem a little overwhelming but please bear with me my family has been demanding details and pictures.

Day one: Location: Miami! Got a cute little rental car and went exploring. Went to south beach, sang to will smiths song Miami, checked out the shops, went to dash no Kardashian in sight, and went to a ne-yo show.

Day two: Location: Florida Keys! We talked to some locals and rented some snorkeling gear and headed to the keys. Sang VERY loudly to the beach boys song kocomo, went to annes beach, found a sunken ship, and had key lime pie.

Day three: Location: sea (passing by Cuba) Boarded the ship Valor, had a fun day at sea, thought about London way too much.

Day four: Location: Grand Cayman! Celebrated my birthday! We went on an excursion to sting ray city, pet, kissed, and fed sting rays, then it took us over to a bay with dolphins. We were assigned to Luna and Nemo as our personal dolphins. I really loved them and really want one of my own. We got to pet, kiss, swim, and play with them. So rad.

Day five: Location: Isla Rotan, Honduras! We found a taxi driver that stayed with us for the day, he took us all over the island, we went to tabyana beach, snorkeled, and played with monkeys. We were let in the monkey cages. They were trouble makers. They stole husbands hat and water bottle, and three baby monkeys the size of baby kittens peed all over me. I don't mind they were so cute. Sadly enough our camera died right before we got there. I guess we will just have to do it again.

Day six: Location: Belize! We went on a cave tubing excursion. We hiked through a jungle and then headed down this river through unbelievable caves on a tube. It was a really neat experience. The stalactites and stalagmites were beautiful, the bats were not.

Day seven: location: Cozumel!  We rented a scooter and explored the town. We went to a beach that had a rock climbing wall in the ocean, kayaks, water trampolines, and wind sailing. We spent most of our time there and did a little local shopping. It was beautiful.

Day eight: location: sea: We spent the day at sea loving the entertainment, and eating far beyond our limits.

Day nine: location: Orlando! after a very dramatic experience of getting off the ship and leaving my baby blanket on the ship. Nothing a few rule breaking and tears wont fix we headed to Orlando. We stayed with some good friends Alysse and Chasten. We also got to experience a Florida rainstorm.

Day Ten: Location: Disney World! Alysse works at Disney World so we got to spend the day there. It was our first time! There was so much to do you need more than one day there. We got lucky and there were barely any lines. Thank you Alysse!

Day Eleven: Location: Orem! We spent the morning in Orlando at the pool and eating yummy food. We left that night and flew back home. Home sweet home.

P.S. I apologize for such a long post. I really just didn't want to forget some of the details. Thank you husband for spoiling me!

School Girl

This summer has been unforgettable. You know the saying work hard play hard. Well we only listened to the second half. Like most summers this summer was packed full of fun vacations. We didn't turn down any chance to get out of town. We took a trip to vegas, idaho, california, and we even went to lake powell twice. This summer has been incredible. But something has been missing and I finally figured it out. Its August and a harsh reminder of this was when I walked into Office Max and it smelled like school supplies. Lets put it this way I wish they made Office Max scented candles, laundry detergent, and perfume. It gets me so excited for school. This will be my first August not spending countless hours on rate my professor, fighting for parking, or logging on to blackboard every thirty min. I miss school more than most of my friends in high school. I either need summer to stay or August to be taken off the calendar. Please.

learn something new

Feeling a little exposed!

Ten years ago I was:
Twelve which means about 7th grade. I was shy. Played volleyball and danced. I was obsessed with my two bffs. I had my first kiss. An average day consisted of making music videos, trying to get on Guinness book of world record, planning my music career, trying to be trendy, and thinking my older brothers were rad. I guess a lot hasn’t changed…

5 things on my list of things to do today:
1-bank
2-gym
3-summer salad social (cheesy ward activity)
4-car wash
5-take London on a walk

5 snacks I love:
1-Chips
2-raspberries
3-avocado
4-mango
5-ice cream

If I were given a billion dollars:
I would build my dream home, travel all over the world, shop substantial amounts, pay my tithing, and give a lot to friends and family. Oh and help out animal shelters <3

3 bad habits:
   1- not taking vitamins
2- keeping up with the kardashians.
3-recycling –promise I love the earth. I’ll get better soon.

5 places I have lived:
1-Orem, UT
2-Escondido, CA
3-St. George, UT
4-Poway, CA
5-Ramona, CA

Jobs I have had:
1-Wife
2-Tucanos rockstar server
3- Student
4-Mimis Café hostess
5-Abercrombie

5 things (most) people don't know about me:
1- I am deathly afraid of aliens.
2- I’ve been in the back of a cop car. (picked up for curfew when I was fifteen lol they just drove me and my friends home)
3- I can’t keep plants alive. (You would think I water them with poison.)
4- I was in the UVU pageant
5- I am a music junkie. I have REALLY great taste in music.

Okay friends I did it. You're turn.

Chubby Cheeks

Husband had some major mouth work recently. He got all four of his wisdom teeth pulled, some cavities fixed, and a little dental straightening added to the mix. Doctors orders to take it easy and I have never seen husband listen to directions so well. Sleeping, movies, having smoothies has been the only things on the agenda lately. Oh and a special thanks to Dr. Hathaway for putting small holes in the teeth so he could make a wisdom tooth necklace. He actually made it and has not taken it off since. He looks a little like this guy...

Things worth mentioning

The last few months have been pretty crazy to say the least. So this blog is designed for an overall update. First off husband and I had our commencement ceremony. Although we finished school in December the ceremony wasn't until April. It went really well we had our army of support come into town which was wonderful.
So being a graduate I decided to get a more grown-up job and landed a job with Toyota conveniently close to my family in San Diego. I quit my job at Tucanos. Packed up had a quick goodbye party and started my new job.
The job went well minus the 70hrs a week that they were tyring to get me to work. Meanwhile husband was still finishing things up back in Orem. So I stayed out there for two months and decided that I really wasn't ready to be that grown up yet. So change of plans I moved back home to orem! This summer has way too many fun plans to be working like that. So as of today the plan is to go planless for a little while and then move back down to San Diego when the timing feels right. So blessed to have such a supportive husband!

just putting it out there.

I am okay with any holiday that celebrates love. I think its wonderful and I would give up many holidays before I would throw this one away. I'm so thankful for the people I love. And of course the people that love me. The holiday is extra special knowing that two years ago was the day husband proposed. I love that man.

One

Last week we got invited to go on a trip to LA. We had a really good time. Husbands mom flew out there and we went to a lot of business meetings and got to sit in on some cool business ventures. Husbands sister met up with us and we had a really fun time. We spent a lot of our time in beverly hills. We went to Art Linkletters house. It was amazing to see him. He is 98 but still has some good kick. Except for when he was showing us the backyard and the pants fell to the ankles. (He is the guy who used to be on kids say the darndest things) Oh and he brought the hoola hoop to america which I really thanks him for that. We have some really exciting trips coming up and we coordinated them while we were there. Oh and husband is getting into listening to motivational speakers wayyy to much. I find my not singing along to lady gaga but instead reciting the ten steps to success. I miss the jo bros.

London enjoying the view

Two

I just got the Droid. I have never been so obsessed with anything like this. Its the new phone from verizon. My poor husband hasn't seen me in about a week. I would recommend it to anyone. I feel so cool about my new upgrade. I really love my phone even if it does remind me of aliens :/

Three

I have officially worked at Tucanos longer than any server. Not only does this make me feel old but it also makes me feel like the 9042384 people I have seen come and go know something more than I do. Like its a good idea to leave? Someday...

Four

Christmas was especially wonderful this year. We went to California to visit my family and to get some of the 75 degree weather that we have been aching for. We have a tendency of living like kings and queens on vacation and this trip was no exception. We went to the beach, padre game, knotts berry farm, and golfing. It was one of the first times we didn't have to hurry home for school or homework catch up. Thanks family for the really wonderful Christmas.

Five

I loved decorating for Christmas. We weren't planning on getting a tree this year because we were going to be out of town so much. We ended seeing charlie (the tree) and fell in love with him. He worked so well in our home. We have made it a tradition every Christmas to get an ornament that reflects one of the biggest accomplishments of the year. It was neat to see them on Charlie. I love the holidays.

Don't you just love the piano?

Dont worry about the messy home.

Six

Husband and I got a new calling in church. We used to teach the five and six year old and now we moved to the sunbeams aka three and four year old. And our class tripled in kids. We are excited about the change but will miss our old class terribly. Although it did make me feel a little better when one of the girls in my old class told everyone including her new teachers that she liked the Weekes better. We trained her well.

Seven

We got a baby grand piano. She is stunning. Thanks to my wonderful mom. We gave up our kitchen table (who really uses those anyway). Its a tight fit but I think she is perfect. I started piano lessons again. I love our new addition.

Eight

We graduated. Although I do catch myself wearing UVU gear more than ever :/

Nine

Well we did it. Brother and I went to Vegas and did the Rock N Roll marathon. We were hoping to get a little more rock and a little less roll. And it worked! It was an amazing experience. There were about 30 thousand runners. I placed 12,278 which I was happy about. They shut the entire vegas strip down. Besides having to run a mile to get to the starting line torture and the unexpected 32 degree weather torture and realizing at the starting line that my i pod was dead huge torture. I was really happy I did it. I only ran with brother for a little while until we realized I was really slowing him down. But we both finished which was the real goal. And added bonus I learned where all the elevators were on campus because I couldn't walk for days after. My entire family showed up for support which was greatly appreciated.

Top 10- ten

It's no secret that my blogging has not been up to par. Husband and I have had so much going on lately I thought I would mention the best 10 things that has happened lately. Starting with number 10. Happy birthday husband! Usually husband likes to ski every year for his birthday but with lack of snow I had to be creative. We celebrated by rock climbing, going to a 3-D movie, checking out some reindeer and light show, going out to dinner, and the festival of trees. Everything was a hit. Oh and I don't even mind that when we were rock climbing he only talked about skiing.
